A Michigan-based political action committee is hoping to get pharmacy benefit manager legislation on the November ballot in
the state. The Captains of Pharmacy Political Action Committee is collecting signatures for The Prescription Benefit Management
Administration Act that would amend state law to require that any Michigan citizen receiving a prescription drug benefit would
be able to choose their pharmacy provider. The law would also require that copays and days' supply for prescriptions be the
same at all pharmacies. In order to be on the ballot, the initiative must have more than 300,000 signatures.
