Pharmacists groups strongly oppose the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services? proposal to require long-term care (LTC) facilities to contract solely with consultant pharmacists who have no affiliation with any in-facility LTC pharmacy, pharmaceutical manufacturer, or drug wholesaler.
