Vintage images from our past: 1910-1920

This year’s celebration of the 160th anniversary of Drug Topics provides a unique opportunity to examine the rich history of our magazine and the industry.

One way we do that is by revisiting stories, issues, and images from the past. Our observance began with our February issue and will continue throughout 2016.

Some of these vintage images remind us that the more things change, the more they stay the same. These images originally appeared between 1910 and 1920.

Yeah, I remember Calox. And I remember when Lambert Pharmacy became Warner-Lambert. And I remember when my $125/week salary put me in 7th heaven. And I remember when pharmacy was the most trusted profession -- over physicians and clergy. What I don't remember is when all of that changed.
